Henceworth he will be known as...
On Saturday Grandpa B, the boys, and I went to the Northwood Auto Show and also saw the end of the Northwood football game. Earlier in the week, Finn had received a letter from one of the Timberwolves' back-up quarterbacks (number 6, junior Eric Chrisinske) as part of the Timberwolves Kids Club. Finn was VERY excited to receive a letter from a quarterback. Well, after the game today, we went down on the field and met Eric. The boys had their picture taken with him. The later afternoon was spent watching the Tigers on TV with Grandpa B. The Tigers eliminated the Yankees! Tomorrow is the quarterly business meeting at church, so I spent a bunch of time today putting together the treasurer's report. Tonight, we watched the Vols whip the Bullodogs.
Here are some photos:
The last weekend of June, while Jonathan and Lisa were in New York City, the boys stayed with Grandma and Grandpa B in Troy. We're not sure if they even missed us. Activities included: a picnic at Mercy Bellbrook where Allison works, putt-putt, swimming, and (allegedly) ice cream after every meal.
On Saturday we celebrated Finn's 3rd birthday with the Birdwells and Bridges. It was the first of two parties...the second to be held next weekend.
Finn's pre-school had a beach party this past Friday:
Twice today Finn hopped onto his tricylce and road off down the sidewalk...getting quite far away before anybody noticed that he was gone. The second time he was already on the other side of the block before he was tracked down by the miscellaneous neighbors who scattered in search of him when they heard Lisa calling his name.
We got a dusting of snow today. Also, Finn had allergy tests at the doctor. It looks like dust and dust mites (and cats) are an issue.
Tonight Elliot was telling Finn how to make the letter E:
"Make a body with a hat, a nose, and a penis."
